Emergency Response Resource Management

Emergency Response
In the event of an emergency, we follow your directions. We are proactive in assisting you in your tough decisions, controlling costs and minimizing the long-term impact of an emergency on your bottom line.
Decades of Experience
Our personnel have decades of experience in domestic and international shipping, energy services, shore-based operations and oil spill clean-up. We understand your business from all sides.
Long-Range Vision
Our long-term mission is to become your environmental services partner – the consultants you call as you formulate your environmental management plans, the firm you hire to prepare for and protect against the potentially ruinous effects of an emergency – and to minimize damage if problems arise.
The NRC Mission
Our strategy is straightforward: Move resources and expertise when and where they are needed – within the exclusive economic zone of the United States. By maximizing the reach of our personnel and equipment, NRC will project manage a spill event and reduce costs to you, our clients.
NRC brings together a vast Independent Contractor Network – more than 144 local emergency response and clean-up companies, located in more than 538 locations nationwide. Under custodial agreement, these independent contractors store NRC’s owned and dedicated response equipment. In the event of an emergency or training exercise, NRC serves as the central client contactor, coordinating and deploying the resources as needed. This strategy translates into extensive availability of equipment and personnel, streamlined systems and responsive communications, along with significant cost-efficiencies – for all our clients.
As a part of the services available to NRC clients, the contractors who store these units must maintain HAZWOPER certification on all personnel who transport and operate these systems. Personnel are trained by NRC numerous times per year in the respective NRC operating regions.
