SES•BORKIT combines the international strengths of SES with the local knowledge
and expertise of Borkit to provide a range of environmental and emergency response
services in Kazakhstan. The Company has established a Tier 2 oil spill and emergency
response base on the shores of the Caspian Sea in Aktau, Kazakhstan. The base
provides onshore, nearshore and offshore emergency oil spill response services to
Tengizchevroil (TCO) and other companies handling and transporting oils in Kazakhstan.
By merging its oil spill capabilities with the resources and skills of its JV partners,
SES•BORKIT is uniquely positioned to provide turnkey solutions to a wide range of
industries including offshore exploration and production, refinery and other downstream
facilities, terminal and transportation owner and operators, plus the marine
salvage and emergency response industry.

Oil Spill and Emergency Response
The knowledge and field experience of the SES•BORKIT staff is unparalleled in
Kazakhstan. Team members have responded to and managed marine, river and
land-based oil spill incidents both in the region and around the world. This response
record coupled with a dedicated suite of specialised response equipment distinctly
enables SES•BORKIT to provide a prompt, efficient and cost effective response to
incidents in Kazakhstan, wherever they may occur.
SES•BORKIT provides Incident Response Services from its Aktau Spill Response
Centre, the response capability is maintained on a 24 hours a day, 7 days per week
basis with a dedicated emergency callout service. If required, SES•BORKIT can mobilise
additional trained and experienced personnel from within the greater SES regional
and international response network to provide Tier 3 support.
With the extensive experience and knowledge of its team, SES•BORKIT provides a range of risk management and emergency response training and consultancy services.
